Locked in a church bathroom during her sister’s graduation mass, a young woman finds herself alone with period cramps, no phone signal, and a statue of the Virgin Mary. With nothing to distract her, she begins to unravel the messy, funny, and painfully honest realities of growing up Irish and female.

The Girl’s Room is a bold one-woman show blending comedy and confession as it explores periods, purity culture, body image, sexuality, and faith. Sharp, heartfelt, and unfiltered, this coming-of-age story invites audiences to laugh, reflect, and recognise the moments that shaped who they are — and who they’re still becoming.
